Alfred Course Ranger adds player chat to the scorecard. It can explain saved course rules and game features, and players can request staff help. Staff need to monitor conversations and respond to requests.
Go to Manage → Add-ons and turn on Alfred Course Ranger. Open a player scorecard to check that the chat button appears.
Review your saved rules and enabled challenges, badges and rewards. These provide context for player answers. Test the questions your players are likely to ask.
Open Staff POS and locate the Alfred conversations. Agree who will monitor requests during opening hours.
If you offer food, check that food ordering and the menu are enabled and accepting orders. Open the menu from the player chat and check the available items.
Open the scorecard, ask about a saved course rule, then send a staff request. Check the conversation in Staff POS and send a reply to confirm the player receives it.
Player answers use saved course rules and information about enabled challenges, badges and rewards. They also use the player's reported hole and game state.
Check answers against your course policies. Refer questions about information that is missing or incorrect to staff.
Staff can view conversations and reply from Staff POS. A help request needs someone to read it and take action; it does not guarantee an arrival time.
Confirm the player's location when responding. The hole shown with a request is reported game information.
The Add-ons switch enables Alfred Course Ranger for player scorecards on an eligible plan. The food menu option also depends on food ordering being enabled and accepting orders.
After changing access or food settings, reopen the scorecard and check the available chat actions.
Keep saved course rules current and test answers after changing them.
Review player conversations in Staff POS and answer unresolved questions.
Ask where the player is before sending help. Their reported hole may have changed since the request.
Keep available items and prices current in Food Ordering, and test the menu link from chat.
