Families keep score and solve a story on the same screen. Six clues appear at holes you choose, each correct answer reveals a letter, and the final mystery is completed after the round. Everything is digital, including the clue journal and completion badge.
“The pirate’s treasure has disappeared. Find six clues while playing your round.” Edit the story, questions, artwork and colors to suit your course.
Under Your adventures, select the pirate template or choose Create adventure. You can keep up to eight adventures on each scorecard. Give yours a title, opening story and six-letter final answer.
Open each clue and choose Appears at hole. Use six different holes in ascending order. Add a title, question, three different answer choices, the correct answer and an optional hint. Each clue reveals the next letter of your final answer.
Choose a Clue theme color, upload artwork or enter an image URL, and add an Image description for players using screen readers. Each clue can have a different image and color.
Under The final mystery, add the final question, story ending and completion badge name. For ANCHOR, the six solved clues reveal A, N, C, H, O and R in order.
Mark the stories you want to offer as Available on this scorecard. Choose Required or Optional, then turn on Show adventures in this scorecard. The switch saves your current settings immediately. Wait for the saved confirmation; if activation fails, the switch returns to its last confirmed state and an error explains what needs attention. Premium+ is required to turn activation on.
When adventures are active, the adventure popup opens as soon as players visit the scorecard, before Start Game. After the introduction or their adventure choice, players go straight to adding their group. The round uses standard stroke scoring automatically, so players do not choose a play mode or scoring method first.
Select one available story under Adventure that starts automatically. Its full-screen introduction opens when players visit the scorecard, with a Continue to players button and no skip option. Clues open at their assigned holes once the round starts. Players can return to scoring at any time; they do not have to solve a clue to enter golf scores.
A full-screen popup explains the experience when players open the scorecard. Players choose from the available adventures or skip the adventure and keep score, then add their players. Their choice is remembered through setup and for that round on that device.
Available controls which stories can be selected. Show adventures controls whether any adventure appears for players on this scorecard.
The Adventure tab shows the actual player interface in the phone on desktop and below the editor on smaller screens. Use Preview screen in the editor to inspect the opening popup, any clue, the final mystery or the completion badge. Editing a clue or the final question also switches to that screen.
Progress stays with that scorecard on the current device. Answer checking needs a connection; players can keep golf scores if an adventure request fails. The completion badge is a digital souvenir.
Celebrations happen when a new clue or the final mystery is solved. Reopening a solved clue or refreshing keeps the reward without replaying confetti. Effects never block the scoring controls. Players who prefer reduced motion see the same letters, milestones and badge without animated effects; the dashboard preview follows that preference too.
The course needs Premium or Enterprise. Open Billing in Manage to upgrade. A downgrade removes access to the editor and stops serving adventures to players while keeping the saved stories.
Turning on activation saves immediately; check for the saved confirmation or an error above the switch. At least one story must be available, and in Required mode the selected story must also be available. Use Save adventure settings for edits made after activation. Open the regular player scorecard; the introduction or optional invitation appears before player setup. Returning players keep their existing round and adventure choice.
Use exactly six clues on different holes in order, three distinct choices per clue and a correct answer chosen from those choices. The final answer must contain six A–Z letters. If another window saved first, reload before editing again.
Players checking an answer against the earlier version are asked to reload. Their golf scores remain saved. Finish preparing the adventure before opening it to players where possible.
All golf holes must be scored and all six clue letters collected. Players can use the journal to return to missed clues.
No. Stories, images, answers, the journal and the final puzzle all live in the digital scorecard.
