How many players can participate in a tournament?
Set the player capacity when configuring the tournament. Registration is limited by that event setting.
Can players register and pay online?
Share the registration link for your event. When an entry fee is configured, players pay through Stripe Checkout. Fees depend on your course plan and payment setup.
How does live scoring work?
Scores are entered through a mobile-friendly interface by designated scorekeepers or players themselves. Updates push instantly via WebSocket to all connected screens. Spectators watching on their phones, the public bracket page, and your venue's TV displays all update in real-time.
Can I customize the tournament rules?
Absolutely. Set the number of holes per match, configure tiebreaker rules, choose seeding methods (random, manual, or based on previous performance), set registration deadlines, player caps, and customize the tournament description and rules displayed to players.
What happens with odd numbers of players?
The system automatically handles byes intelligently. In elimination formats, byes are distributed to top seeds to fill the bracket to the next power of 2. In Swiss, odd players receive a bye worth a win. Round-robin schedules ensure everyone plays the same number of matches.
Can spectators view the bracket?
Yes! Share the public bracket link on social media, your website, or via QR codes at your venue. Spectators can watch live bracket updates, see match scores, and follow the tournament progression without needing to log in or download anything.
Is there a TV display mode?
Yes! A dedicated full-screen TV mode displays the bracket beautifully on venue screens. Auto-scrolling for large brackets, highlighted current matches, and real-time updates make it perfect for keeping spectators engaged throughout the event.
