Common Questions

How is this different from inventory tracking?
Inventory tracks consumable items you buy and sell (golf balls, merchandise, snacks). Equipment tracking is for fixed assets like course features, facilities, and durable equipment that need maintenance over time. Both systems work together in PuttScores.
How do I add an asset?
Add an asset with its name, type and condition, then fill in the location, purchase and warranty details you have.
Does equipment tracking integrate with maintenance?
Absolutely. When you create a maintenance task, you can link it to a specific asset. The asset's maintenance history, costs, and condition are updated automatically when tasks are completed.
Can I track assets across multiple locations?
Yes. Each asset can be assigned to a specific location: a hole number, building, or custom zone. You can filter and view assets by location to see what's where.
Is equipment tracking included in my plan?
Inventory and Maintenance are included with Premium and Enterprise. Existing grandfathered Standard customers retain access while subscribed to Standard. New Standard subscriptions do not include these features.
